Spicy Egg Salad Recipe

What You Need For This Recipe
Eggs Extra large, or large eggs work great. It is possible to add eggs to the recipe If you’d like.
Apple My favorite is Honey Crisp apples but any sweet-tasting apple works well. I would suggest Granny Smith (too tart) or Red Delicious (too mealy).
Potatoes: Yukon Gold is delicious and creamy, but you can also use babies red potatoes.
How To Make Egg Salad
Put the eggs in an ice bath and bring them to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes, after which you can remove the eggs. Add the potatoes, and cook until soft.
Peel the potatoes then cut them into smaller pieces.
Peel hardboiled eggs, then dice.
Cleanse and cut celery to thin strips.
The apple is peeled, slice the flesh off from the core, then chop. Chop chives and dill. Peel and chop shallot.
Add eggs, potatoes celery and chives, dill, mayonnaise, and mustard, as well as shallot, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix it all together. Serving at room temp, or cover and store in the refrigerator.
