Pasta shells Although you can use any pasta you like for this recipe, we like small shells. They are a nice addition to the salad, and they work perfectly with the other ingredients.
Cut uniform sizes. Make sure you cut tomatoes, cheese, and cucumbers into uniform pieces. Chop the onions finely. In this way, you’ll get all the ingredients in each bite.
Don’t cook the pasta too long overlooked pasta can turn mushy and taste unpleasant in the salad. After the pasta has cooked, drain and wash with cold water in order to prevent it from sticking to the pasta shells.
homemade salad dressings dressing can also be prepared ahead and refrigerated. You can alter the dressing by adding milk to get a thicker consistency if you wish, however, this ratio is what we prefer! Tip: Add about 3/4 of the dressing to mix salad. Add additional dressing as you need.
